Jill was born in North Carolina in 1979. After graduating from NC State with a degree in business management, she decided to head to California to try the model/actress thing. She got lucky right away by landing a role as the first female cast member on MTV's Ashton Kucher show "Punk'd", appearing in a dozen episodes.

After "Punk'd", Jill Wagner did a few small parts in movies and TV shows before landing a leading role on the Spike TV show "Blade: the Series". She played Krista Starr, and Iraq war veteran who returns home only to become a vampire while investigating the death of her brother. Despite Jill's talents, the show only lasted 12 episodes.

After doing a few guest episodes on "Stargate: Atlantis", Jill was hired to be the sideline reporter on the ABC game show "Wipeout", which has become one of the network's few breakout hits.

Jill loves the interaction with the show's eccentric contestants. "My favorite part of the job is that I get to go down on the field with these people. They have personalities that go for days. They’re really cool, and it’s great to interact with them."
